Hi, I'm having a problem with one of our does, specifically her eyes. I noticed they were tearing and thought it was the switch in shavings. Then after a week I noticed a tiny bit of green goop and contacted the vet and treated her with the eye ointment for conjunctivitis. Her eyes would clear up until I stopped the medicine. At that point the eyelids became crusted and the corners of her eyes are not irritated, itchy and raw. So we treated with LA 200. TOday was the third and final dose (every other day for three doses) and I thought I'd see some kind of improvement by now. The corners are still raw, around her eyelids looks raw and crusty. There is no more green discharge and little to no tearing. The rim of her bottom lid is now bright, fire-engine red. Is there anything we could be missing? Should I see a change after tomorrow?

She is 17 months old, was the runt of three but has been very healthy. She was born on our farm. We got a doe last February, who delivered three healthy babies and a doe last May who had just been checked and tested for everything and was clean. SO I don't think I brought anything into the barn. ALso, noon else (six others) has any sings of tearing, goop, itchiness or trouble with their eyes.

Thank you for your ideas.

You did put the La-200 directly into her eyes didn't you? One of my young does had pink-eye. It took 2 drops of LA200 in each eye for 12 days before it totally cleared up. It was bad pink-eye. She was totally blind and bumping into everything. Her eyesight was perfect after the treatment was over.
